Recchia for Borough President!?
Well this quote in an article about the Brooklyn Borough President race is out of left field, via the NY Times;
"Councilman Domenic M. Recchia Jr. has said he is also considering entering the [BP] race."

Out of left field? Boro Pres is all he's always been interested in.
Recchia's flirtation with running for Congress (in a district other than the one in which he lives) is part misguided strategy to get his name out to a larger audience (wrong boro, Dom) and being promised the moon by the sweet-talkers at the DCCC (who recognize that Harrison has no electoral strength and grasp at whoever else shows a half second of interest).
For all the talk about Vito being vulnerable, where are all the serious takers?
