The NY Post continues with the speculation that City Councilman Mike McMahon will run for Borough President in 2009. McMahon will be term limited out of his Council seat in 2009.

Rep. Vito Fossella arrested May 01, 2008 for DWI. Fossella had a .17 BAC. On October 17 he was convicted. On December 8 his conviction stood and he was sentenced to serve five days in jail. After his sentencing he appealed the verdict and now is awaiting a retrial.
Retrial date: early 2009
