Brooklyn Democrats for Change endorse Harrison
via a Brooklyn Democrats for Change email;
At our general meeting on August 7, we endorsed Steve Harrison in the race to be Democratic Nominee in the 13th Congressional District.
Brooklyn Democrats for Change had previously not endorsed a candidate back in the spring when the race was between Harrison and Recchia. The club is actively encouraging members to support Harrison in campaign efforts.

Congrats to Harrison for winning this important endorsement. I heard that the vote was tied on the first ballot and Harrison only won it thanks to a few of the McMahon people voting for Steve the 2nd time around. Even if this is true it just goes to show you that democracy can work even in a local political club. Some times I get tired of these 100% endorsements they are not real at all. Mostly leaders telling club members how to vote. Glad to see that does not happen in this club. Good Luck Brooklyn Democrats for Change.
