NRCC buys air time in 26 districts, not NY-13
The NRCC has announced two major ad buys, first they bought $9 million of ads for 14 races, then $8 million for 12 more races. "The poll shows that McMahon, who has represented Staten Island’s North Shore in the City Council since 2001, is leading Harrison by 64 percent to 18 percent, with a gapping 46 percent margin.
“Ecstatic!” is the word McMahon used to describe his reaction to the poll, calling it a sign that his message is getting across to voters.
Harrison, a Bay Ridge attorney and former Community Board 10 chair, was not discouraged by the poll, noting that his internal numbers show “a competitive race.” "
