The House just finished voting on HR 3997, the Financial Markets Bill that give the Treasury Department money to intervene in bailing out financial markets. Vito Fossella voted YES . The bill failed.
Following the corruption, ineffectiveness and hypocrisy of Rep. Vito Fossella.

Vito used to work on Wall Street, and he has a lot of Wall Street friends still.
He care more about getting a job after he leaves Congress than doing what's right.
He doesn't care about anyone but himself. I mean, the guy cheated on his wife and ruined his family.
If constituents expect better from him, they deserve to be damned.
I'm glad the bill failed, and I hope Vito can't get a cozy Wall Street job because of it.
Pelosi refused to use the whip today because the the vote was essentially a punt to the Senate. All the vulnerable Reps and Dems (including Dem sub-committee chairs) voted no. All the bulletproof Republicans or Republicans that are likely to lose (like Fossella) voted yes. Today, Vito fell on his sword like a good little boy.
How is it a "punt to the Senate?"
