Fossella against drunk drivers, before giving it a try

In 2002, Fossella co-sponsored a House resolution that would have included alcohol-related crimes in a crime-victims' rights amendment. The legislation would have specified that a person injured by a drunken driver was a "victim of violent crime," with additional legal remedies.

It is disturbing and a sign of his ego that he even remains in Congress let alone contemplated running again.
