Keith Parascandola has been re-elected to a second term as president of the Young Democrats.

Among the group's goals for the next year-plus, according to Parascandola: Electing Mike Ryan district attorney, unseating GOP Rep. Vito Fossella and putting a Democrat in the White House in 2008.

And then there's that constant battle to up the party's profile on the Republican-dominated South Shore.
