Fossella (R) scared to debate Harrison (D)

It has now been five days since Stephen Harrison's (D) campaign had to go to Rep. Vito Fossella's campaign headquarters and hold a press conference to force him to agree to a debate.

This week, we took matters into our own hands, and went to Fossella’s campaign office to personally deliver the challenge. Trapped in front of news cameras, Fossella’s campaign manager had no choice but to agree to debate. Of course, Fossella has already started to make excuses about scheduling problems, and you can be sure he’ll do everything he can to avoid appearing before the people of our district.

Rep. Fossella doesn't think the residents of the thirteenth congressional district deserve to hear why he thinks they should send him back to D.C. for another failure of a term. No wonder when he supported the President in attacking Iraq, when he supported the reckless spending and fiscal policy of this President and when he supported the failed energy policy's of Dick Cheney that have gas prices at their highlest levels in recent history. I guess I would avoid talking to my constituents too if I was Rep. Vito Fossella.
